Our Mission

Mentoring Young Minds helps youth facing adversity build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, discover new possibilities, and prepare for academic, career, and lifelong success by expanding access to meaningful opportunities, supportive relationships, and life-changing experiences.

Why "I Believe in Myself" Matters

Every accomplishment begins with a belief that it's possible.

Before a child raises a hand in class, shares an idea, tries something new, applies for a job, pursues a college or career goal, or steps into a leadership role, they must first believe in themselves.

They must believe their voice matters, their ideas have value, and that they can learn and grow, even when they don't get it right the first time.

At Mentoring Young Minds, "I Believe in Myself" is more than a phrase. It is a mindset that encourages youth to develop confidence, embrace challenges, persevere through setbacks, and recognize their own potential.

We believe confidence is built through meaningful relationships, educational and enrichment opportunities, encouragement, and experiences that help young people discover what they are capable of achieving.
